What we do

Art6ix is a free, web-based platform for discovering and publishing contemporary art events in Toronto, built to make it easier to find what's on. Exhibitions, openings, screenings, performances, talks, and fairs live in one place, so you can see what's on view today, what opens this week, and what's ending soon, without hunting across a dozen newsletters and Instagram accounts.

For visitors

• Browse events by date, category, tag, venue, artist, or organizer, and view them as a grid, list, map, or calendar.
• Save events to your watchlist and export them to your own calendar app.
• Follow the venues, artists, and organizers whose programming you care about.

For artists, venues, and organizers

Publishing on Art6ix is free. Submit an event and it will appear on the site once reviewed. Artists, venues, and organizations each get their own profile page that collects their past and upcoming events, so your audience has a single link to follow.

How listings are handled

Submissions are reviewed before they go live, and verified profiles are marked as such. We do our best to keep details accurate, but dates, prices, and hours change, so always confirm with the venue or organizer before you travel. If you spot something wrong, tell us and we'll fix it.

Who we are

Art6ix is an independent project made in Toronto by people who go to a lot of openings. It started because we kept missing shows we would've loved. There was no single place bringing it all together, so we built one. We are not affiliated with any gallery, institution, or funding body, and listings are not paid placements.
